God Of War: It Didn’t Top The Charts In One Country!

Kratos and Atreus didn’t succeed everywhere.

The country where the weekly PlayStation Store charts brought up another victor was none other than Japan. You can see the list here, but we’re not going into detail with it except for two titles.

God of War started in second place, which isn’t too shabby from a PlayStation 4-exclusive. However, Dead by Daylight: Special Edition has had the better of Kratos. (Which means a non-Japanese game defeated another on the top of the charts, which is rare there…) There’s a reason behind Dead by Daylight’s seemingly random success.

The game launched there just now, and it’s only available digitally, which means there are no physical sales involved. Plus, the PlayStation Plus subscribers get 20% discount, too. Let us also not forget that God of War was never a major success in Japan in the past…

Even SIE Santa Monica’s game can’t be the best everywhere.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
