Sony expects to sell 300 PS VR video games before finishing 2018

Currently there are 150 titles available for the virtual reality device.

Sony has spoken with Japanese media Nikkei about the future of the PlayStation VR, the virtual reality glasses of PlayStation 4. According to the newspaper, the goal of the publisher is to reach 280 video games before finishing the new 2018, what would suppose to increase in 80% the current catalog of titles, composed of 150 works.

The Japanese firm has ensured that such a figure would be unthinkable without the two million units that the helmet has sold so far. PlayStation VR was launched in October 2016: it is one of Sony’s strongest bets with the PlayStation brand. It has recently been known that Job Simulator was the most downloaded VR game of the past year.
