A PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Clone With A Twist? It Can Work! [VIDEO]

No, it’s not a Chinese, blatant clone. This game is something serious. No, it’s not Fortnite: Battle Royale either!

On Reddit, Sean Pinnock, creative director of Oneiric Entertainment, announced that the team is working on a battle royale game. Before you write the game down, we quickly add the fact that it is going to be a VR game, called Virtual Battlegrounds!

Sure, the game is far from being perfect, but it’s reasonable due to the game being in an early development state. Currently, the amount of players were limited to just sixteen, as the devs say not a lot of gamers own an Oculus Rift or an HTC Vive.

Pinnock calls the game as a community-driven project, and Oneiric aims to launch Virtual Battlegrounds in 2018, although it wasn’t confirmed whether it’d be an Early Access or a „complete” launch.
