The new Rainbow Six Siege patch can corrupt the PS4 hard drive

Ubisoft should speak about it throughout the day.

The Super Rainbow Six: Siege premieres its season 3 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with an update that is now available for download. However, on the Sony desktop, the patch in question may cause a “bug” that corrupts the hard drive, as users have reported from Reddit forums. If it affects us, we will be unable to access the friends list, or doing so will result in a console freeze.

Ubisoft is expected to do something about it in the coming hours, although for the moment – and given the substantial number of affected users – it is recommended not to download the update. If it is already downloaded, avoid starting the game, and if you do, do not access the friend’s list to send group invitations.
