Crytek Renames Its Forgotten Game [VIDEO]

HUNT: Horrors of the Gilded Age got a new name.

Wait, what? Crytek announced this game almost three years ago! It was meant to be an XIXth century having, cooperative third-person shooter. There was a plan for a closed beta in 2014, but nothing happened, and in fact, the game fell off the face of Earth, plus Crytek also got into financial trouble. Out of nowhere, the game returns with a brand new name.

Hunt: Showdown. Yawn. We fall asleep while reading that title. There’s also a new teaser (announcement [again?] at E3?) for this possibly remade game, which might not even be a four-player coop anymore, because there’s this website, and nothing else is known.

„When two hunters risk everything and evil waits unseen, the hunter becomes the hunted.” Please don’t become a free-to-play title or some cheap thing!

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
