Gears Of War 4’s PC Port – Customization Galore! [VIDEO]

Gears of War‘s fourth numbered installment isn’t going to get a sloppy PC port according to the developers (The Coalition).

The game, which will be one of the first titles of the Xbox Anywhere Program (no Xbox-exclusivity anymore, you will get the game on Windows 10 as well), gets several extras compared to the Xbox One version. In his interview with Eurogamer , Mike Rayner said the following: „Our focus on PC is to deliver a highly optimized, customisable experience first and foremost.” This comment means you can set the game up to run flawlessly even if you have a somewhat outdated rig. Here’s a few more options that the PC version will have, and the X1 edition won’t get. Dynamic resolution support (any resolution will be supported with a sensible dynamic field of view – including ultra-wide), increased texture resolution (up to 4K resolution for select texture groups), a benchmark mode, full keyboard/mouse input remapping (including cover/run and roll split), and far more comprehensive video settings.

The game is launching on October 11. Until then, a gameplay video from the campaign.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
