Gun Media is working hard to make their upcoming game, Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp a hit by adding Kane Hodder as Jason Voorhees to the game.

Hodder is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Jason Voorhees in four Friday 13th movies, and many believes that he’s the best to have ever donned the mask. Hodder will work alongside another horror icon: Tom Savini throughout the motion capture sessions for all of the game’s movements and kills.

To say that Hodder is being held in high regards for this project would be an understatement, judging by Savini’s recent comments:
“When I was being considered to direct the next Friday the 13th movie I was going to bring Kane back as Jason. Kane and I go way back. I’m thrilled to be working alongside him again. In a way this is better and we get to bring Kane back. He’s the best in the biz…besides, who doesn’t want to BE Kane Hodder? Or better yet, who doesn’t want to be KILLED by Kane?”

Summer Camp doesn’t have a release date as of yet, but it will be available on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
