Jamie Colliver, aka TheJamster1992 on YouTube handle of LBP, spent none less than two weeks alongside another user called AAAAALEC recreating the opening to HBO’s popular TV series Game of Thrones in LittleBigPlanet 3, and it’s pretty much awesome.

Jamie Colliver confirmed that everything in the video down to the music was created using in-game tools. As for the impressive camerawork, according to an article on Polygon: “The trick was to use transitions from camera to camera in order to get the view to follow a custom path.

Using this method they were able to turn a game designed to be played on multiple 2D planes into a dynamic floating camera that looks much more cinematic than anything in LittleBigPlanet itself.”

As someone who never tried to make even the most basic LittleBigPlanet levels in the past, I’m speechless how one can make such level of perfection as Colliver in his recreation. It just demonstrate, how valuable putting creative tools in the hands of players can be.
