Even God Of War’s Director Has Seen Death Stranding In Action!

Hideo Kojima‘s game slowly gets to more and more people.

Yesterday was the third anniversary of Kojima Production‘s reformation, now independently from Konami. Their first game will be Death Stranding, which uses the Decima Engine borrowed from Guerrilla (Horizon: Zero Dawn, Killzone). Kojima celebrated the anniversary with a tweet: „I was already 52 when I decided to become independent. I was told to get retired by my family and people around me, but friends in the world who are devoting their lives for creatives said to me that „there are people out there waiting for your work so keep creating for them.”

Cory Barlog, the director of God of War that won several awards this year, congratulated his colleague, and when he was asked if he had seen Death Stranding‘s gameplay in a private presentation, he said „Yes.”  More and more people get to see the game, despite it having no release date yet…

Kojima published another photo, which doesn’t seem too ominous, but a fan has photoshopped it, revealing that Kojima has made a tribute to Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. In its first cutscene, we see Solid Snake smoke a cigarette on the George Washington Bridge. We don’t know what Kojima‘s photo would be related to, but it’s still an excellent gesture from him.

If we’re lucky, we might see Death Stranding launch in 2019.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
