Spider-Man: Further Details About The Heist DLC; New Game+ Is Here Shortly, Too! [VIDEO]

The City That Never Sleeps‘ (basically the season pass) first DLC will be available in a few days.

The new details about The Heist emerged on the PlayStation Blog, but before we go into them, let’s look at Adi Granov’s artwork (the experience from Marvel’s illustration job shows! Granov also helped with suit designs for the game):

„A robbery at an art museum entangles Spider-Man and MJ with an old flame from Peter Parker’s past, Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat. Beyond new story missions, there’s a whole new faction of enemies, new crimes, new challenges, new trophies, and of course, three brand new suits,” the blog says. These suits are the Velocity Suit (designed by Granov), and the other two could be familiar from the comics – they are from Scarlet Spider II, and Spider-Verse (the latter one is called Spider-UK).

The Heist will be out on October 23. It can be bought separately for ten dollars/euros, but if you buy The City That Never Sleeps, that’ll get you all three DLC for twenty-five. We could go into the 1.07 patch right now, but before we do, we have to refer to Insomniac Gamestweet – the patch will not launch today! Instead, it is „coming soon.” The devs might need some time to finish it up properly.

The 1.07 patch will bring in New Game+, as well as the Ultimate difficulty level. Two new trophies will be added to Spider-Man: one will be yours after beating the game for the second time in a New Game+ playthrough, the other one will be showing up after completing Spider-Man on the hardest, Ultimate difficulty level. Also, the Friendly difficulty level got fine-tuned (easier than before), and stickers can be rotated in Photo mode as well.

Recap: the 1.07 patch will come soon, and The Heist DLC will be available from October 23, exclusively on PlayStation 4.
