Uncharted Is „Close To The Starting Line!”

MOVIE NEWS – The Uncharted film, which was announced roughly a decade ago, is about to stop standing still…

Shawn Levy, the director of Uncharted, told The Playlist that they are close to starting shooting footage for the film, which, let’s face it, should be happening already: „The closest to the starting line is ‘Uncharted’. We now have a very good script, and we have our star in Tom Holland. That is now subject to schedule and additional casting. But I would say as of right now, that seems to be the most near horizon. And it’s a movie I’m very excited about,” Levy said.

So, the movie is finally close to being finally shot. Honestly, seeing how in July, an Uncharted fan short film (which we also discussed when it came out) proved how with a shoestring budget and a ton of respect and attention to details, could be completed in less time than the official film adaptation that still only exists on paper, is disappointing…
