Code Vein Gets Delayed!

Another game joins the list of delayed titles.

So far, Bandai Namco was planning to launch the „anime Souls” game on September 28 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. This plan was pulled from the table. There’s no reason to copy the entire press release, but the first paragraph explains the reason why Code Vein was moved to 2019 (!):

„Throughout its pre-release promotion campaign, Code Vein has consistently garnered positive reactions from both media and consumers alike. With this knowledge in-hand, Bandai Namco Inc. has decided to dedicate additional time to develop Code Vein further; ensuring the final product delivers on the expectations set amongst media and fans.”

It’s worrying to hear that the publisher only gave 2019 as the new release window. They didn’t even say if it’s early 2019 or not! We hope Bandai Namco will drop the game in that timeframe – even with that delay; Code Vein would see a minimum of three months of delay.

We’ll see shortly. With this delay, another game escapes from Red Dead Redemption 2’s late-October launch…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
