Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy’s Newest Patch Pulls In HDR Support (Too) [VIDEO]

Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy, which launched yesterday on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC after a year of PlayStation 4-exclusivity, improves with HDR-support.

The 1.06 patch launched yesterday on PlayStation 4, weighing at 560 MB. With it, the box breaking marsupial picks up HDR on Sony’s console (it supported that on the Xbox One out of the box), and it also seems to have shortened the loading times, too. That’s not all: it also grants you access to another bonus level! (The funny thing is that the patch notes only mentioned bug fixes, and nothing else…)

If you look at the PlayStation Store, search for Future Tense. It’s free to download, and it contains the bonus level, which seems to be included on the X1/Switch/PC trio by default. Still, at least Activision, the publisher of Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy, doesn’t want to get money off of this level.

The first three Crash Bandicoot games initially launched on the PlayStation, and their new versions were the summer hits last year, and we liked them, too. It’s Spyro’s turn now, though!
