Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey Has _A_ Protagonist

Although we’ll have the choice to choose at the start of the game, Ubisoft has already decided who the real protagonist will be in the Greek Assassin’s Creed.

Last time, we have dissected the new Twitter and Reddit information, provided by Jonathan Dumont, the creative director of Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey. We didn’t discuss one segment in detail, or perhaps it deserves a separate mention.

For the first time in the franchise’s history, we’ll get to choose from a male and female character at the start. Alexios and Kassandra will both be the descendants of Leonidas, and they will partake in the Peloponnesian War. There’s going to be a novel along with the game, and the French company had to decide who the „canon” protagonist should be.

It’s going to be Kassandra, but Dumont pointed out that in the game – as both characters will have the same origin story. There will be no bad or good decision, as you’ll write your story as you progress in the game.

Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey will launch on October 5 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
