World In Conflict Is Free!

The 2007 real-time strategy is now free for a limited time (until December 11).

It was developed by Massive, who are recently working on The Division, meaning that they have massively (pardon the pun…) changed their genre. (As well as the plot.) How can you access the game? GOG? Steam? Humble?

Unfortunately, all three answers are incorrect, as you’ll need uPlay to get the game. In case you don’t have it yet, you can download it from here, then after registration, search for World in Conflict on the Games tab. Alternatively, if you can’t find it there, look for it under the Free Games menu. Add it to your library, and this decade-old RTS is now in your possession!

As the Soviets’ attack on Western Europe is from 2007, you don’t have to worry about system requirements – even a potato is capable of running the game. Have fun!

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
