Gran Turismo Sport Gets A Largely Missing Mode Shortly!

For the end of the year, Polyphony Digital‘s game gets two major updates.

Sony detailed on the PlayStation Blog how Gran Turismo Sport will expand with its November 27 (1.06) and December updates. The Monday patch will get new cars, as well as Livery Editor, Scapes, and Campaign modes’ possibility to play offline, but you’ll still need an Internet connection to save your progress. (What’s the point of the update then…?)

However, the December update is significant: similar to previous episodes’ GT modes; Gran Turismo Sport will get a new single-player mode, GT League, where you’ll have multiple championships from Amateur to Pro levels, as well as endurance races. The leagues will expand in 2018. There will also be twelve new cars in the December free update: Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD), Nissan Skyline GT-R V・spec II (R32), Nissan Skyline GT-R V・spec II Nür (R34), Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, Lamborghini Countach LP400, Ferrari F40, Enzo Ferrari, KTM X-BOW R, Suzuki Swift Sport, Volkswagen Samba Bus Type 2 (T1), Chris Holstrom Concepts 1967 Chevy Nova, Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible (C3). Gran Turismo Sport will get roughly fifty new cars by March, and the game will be updated after March as well, even with new tracks!

Wouldn’t it have been a better idea to include GT League in the game BY DEFAULT?
