Saturday Trailers [VIDEO]

Quick recap of the weekend so far.

SEGA released a Japanese overview video for Sonic Forces, introducing all three playstyles (classic/modern Sonic, custom Hero), as well as the Wispon powerups. The game’s out on November 7 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia surprised us with a „concept movie”, which is called „The PS4 Between Us.” In it, Japanese students gather around PlayStation 4s to play after school. It’s an amazing idea!

DigitalFoundry compared Middle-Earth: Shadow of War‘s early (!) Xbox One X code with the PlayStation 4 Pro’s, and indeed, Microsoft’s console defeats Sony’s stronger PlayStation 4 model in visuals! There’s also a comparison image showing the ground textures, also showing a significant difference:

Another game gets reimagined in the virtual reality sphere. Strange Company was inspired by Dark Souls, and they created a VR horror game called Left Hand Path. It’ll quit early access status on November 10 on HTC Vive and Oculus Rift Touch.

Do you remember The Darwin Project from Microsoft’s E3 conference? No? Don’t worry, we neither. The battle royale, third-person perspective survival game is back – it’s launching a closed alpha weekend in November. You can sign up here (http://www.scavengers.ca/). Until then, here’s the E3 trailer:

Ubisoft’s French Facebook page published a video which shows the 150/160 euro (PC/consoles) limited edition of Assassin’s Creed: Origins, called the Dawn of the Creed version, featuring the 39-centimeter Bayek statue. (The even more limited, outsold Legendary Dawn of the Creed version, costing 800 euros/dollars, has a 73-centimeter statue.) The game’s available from October 27 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
