Hawken to close its servers on Steam in January 2018

Its authors make no mention of the versions of Xbox One and PS4 that was released in 2016.

In order to “reorient” their development efforts, the Reloaded Games team has announced that Hawken, in its version for PC, will close its servers in January 2018 and therefore, from that date, fans will no longer be able to enjoy the multiplayer action of this title carried by imposing Mechas.

“After three great years, we are going to shut down PC servers on Steam to reorient our development efforts,” Hawken authors report on their Facebook page. “The PC video game will officially cease to be on sale on January 2, 2018, and all DLC and payment content will also no longer be available as of today.”

“It has been an incredibly rewarding experience working with such a committed PC base. Your feedback and support are priceless to us, and the team is already looking forward to creating cool games based on what we have learned from you “.

The beta version Hawken was released in the distant year 2011 and premiered at the end of the following year. Since then the title Reloaded Games has not stopped growing with new content. For now, nothing has been said about the immediate future of the video game in Xbox One and PS4, where it was released last year.
