Black Mirror: THQ Nordic’s One Mystery Title Revealed [VIDEO]

They promised two surprises for Gamescom. It’d be one of them.

THQ Nordic announced that Black Mirror, a point-and-click horror game from 2004 (which got two sequels in 2009 and 2011, respectively) would be rebooted later this year. The IP is coming back via King Art Games’ development – previously, they made games such as The Raven, The Book of Unwritten Tales, and The Dwarves.

Quoting the press release, „the point-and-click gameplay of the original trilogy served as the basis for the re-imagined gameplay, which focuses on close-up investigation and interaction with nightmarish visions that plague the protagonist of the game David Gordon.

Key Features

  • A modern re-imagining of the acclaimed gothic-horror adventure series
  • Interactions with vision-like apparitions which help you learn more about the past of your family
  • Eerie atmosphere focusing on the horrors of the mind, in the style of EA Poe and HP Lovecraft
  • High-quality voice acting from a compelling ensemble cast.”

Black Mirror launches on November 28 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
