ELEX: A Dozen Minutes Of Jetpacking Exploration [VIDEO]

A gameplay tour with a bit of violence in the new Piranha Bytes game.

ELEX is dubbed as a sci-fi RPG for a good reason: in an RPG, you don’t get to use a jetpack that often (even though Mass Effect: Andromeda provided something similar earlier this year…), but this game offers exactly that experience in the gameplay video below.

Of course, there’s also the shotgun, the bow, and arrow, as well as the good old fashioned I’m going to knock you in the face with insert random melee weapon here, too. Mixing the post-apocalyptic approach with a tint of science fiction can work, as seen in ELEX. However, we have yet to see how much the devs have moved on from Risen and Gothic, their two previous franchises.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
