Is Mass Effect In Trouble?

For some reason, it was bound to happen…

Kotaku, based on its sources, claim that Bioware Montreal, developers of Mass Effect: Andromeda, has been massively downsized into a support studio. Many of the employees have been moved over to Jade Raymond’s (ex-Ubisoft, Assassin’s Creed) Motive studio, which is collaborating with DICE and Criterion to make Star Wars Battlefront II.

The rest of the team is helping to create the new Bioware project, codenamed Dylan (which may have been delayed back to March 2019), but there’s still one question: what the hell is going to happen to Mass Effect? Oh, it has been put on the ice. What a damn shame…

The franchise might not be continued shortly, which would be sad: Andromeda ended with a cliffhanger, which means the developers originally planned to make a sequel to its plot…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
