Is Alien: Isolation’s Sequel In Development Already?

After 2014, that goddamn Xenomorph might come back, and we’re going to hide in a locker for a bit.

PlayStation Universe is citing a quote from next month’s Official PlayStation Magazine, which states based on its sources that Creative Assembly, developers of 2014’s Alien Isolation, could be starting work on a new Alien title after finishing up work on Halo Wars 2. Although SEGA was disappointed in the game’s sales, Alien: Isolation was an excellent game, and the developers should get a second chance.

SEGA is opening towards PC players (see Bayonetta, and Vanquish – the latter might be out in a month or so on PC), and they gain money from those sales. With strategy games, they will reap profits as well (Dawn of War 3 on the 27th, Total War Warhammer later this year), so they could give an Alien title a chance aside from Sonic games… (oh, and Yakuza Kiwami in August will potentially grab more money for SEGA, too!)

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
