Oddworld: Soulstorm's First Image Revealed [VIDEO]

Abe is darker than ever.

Oddworld Inhabitants began working on Soulstorm not much after the release of New’n’Tasty, and, as promised, it’s going to be a much darker toned title (probably with its in-game graphics as well) for Abe and his team. Without food, drink or shelter, the RuptureFarms-revolt doesn’t seem to be a good move at this point. (Yes, the game is going to be a remake of Abe’s Exoddus!)

On the game’s official website, we can see that the developers have four more images in store for us, but to see them, we will have to be involved in their metagame. The 1029.io webpage shows despite the regularly changing text (which reminds us of XCOM 2’s ADVENT website before the game was officially named) that a „storm is coming.” The Soulstorm, huh?

Oddworld: Soulstorm will launch in the second half of 2017, probably on the PC and PlayStation 4 first. Game Informer also made an interview with Lorne Lanning, who’s the creator of the Oddworld series, and yes, he is still involved!
