Russia Applies Banhammer On The New Overwatch Comic

The law is law, and everyone must comply with its rules.

Yesterday, the new Overwatch digital comic revealed that one of the non-heterosexual characters (yes, Blizzard previously stated there are a few without naming any of them) is Tracer. However, if we would try to access it from the Russian Federation, we would get an error message that says „In accordance with Russian law we cannot share this comic with our players on the territory of Russian Federation,” according to Kotaku.

Russia previously accused FIFA 17 as well of „gay propaganda,” as the game’s Ultimate Team mode allows you to download a rainbow uniform free of charge…

Banning content from players due to sexual identity is not an elegant solution.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
