Michel Ancel Is Hyping Us Yet Again

Another Beyond Good & Evil 2 artwork by the French gentleman showed up.

Earlier this week, we wrote about how Michel Ancel, the mastermind behind Beyond Good & Evil, has uploaded an artwork to Instagram. He did this again. „Ready for the fight. Independence #ubisoft day,” says the post. The reference is to the board meeting, where Ubisoft could have lost the fight against Vivendi. They didn’t pull a hostile take over, taking the control away from current Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot… for now. Who knows when they will strike, though?

Showing something about Beyond Good & Evil 2 twice this week isn’t random. Is this move Ubisoft’s last resort against Vivendi? Is it just part of hyping us up for the official announcement? Both scenarios are likely, as well as the rumor that the game might be developed exclusively for the Nintendo NX.
