The PlayStation 4 Neo Is Called The PlayStation 4 Pro! Yes, PS4Pro! [VIDEO]

Sony surprised us all with what they had in store for the PlayStation Meeting.
We knew that the PlayStation 4 is getting a stronger model, but the Japanese company renamed it: it’s now called PlayStation 4 Pro. PS4 Pro. (Hey, that’s our site’s name!)

The PS4 Pro‘s GPU will be more than twice as strong as the base model’s, and the clock speed is also boosted. It will also come with a 1 terabyte HDD. But what about the release date and price? It’s coming to all stores on November 10. For 399 euros/dollars/349 pounds. Yes, you read that right – the new console comes in just two months! The PS4 Pro will provide a better PlayStation VR experience, as well as HDR and 4K gaming.

YouTube and Netflix are already working on a new app for the PS4 Pro. Netflix will provide over 600 hours of 4K content by the end of the year, and the popular video-sharing website’s new application will support the higher resolution.
Multiple games were shown off on the PS4 Pro. Just to list them: The Amazing Spider-Man, For Honor, Deus Ex Mankind Divided, Rise of the Tomb Raider 20th Anniversary, Watch Dogs 2, Killing Floor, Days Gone, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Infamous: First Light, Paragon, Shadow of Mordor. The previously launched titles will receive a patch to see the difference on the Pro. The list is joined by FIFA 17, Battlefield 1, Mass Effect Andromeda, Call of Duty Black Ops III, Infinite Warfare, and Modern Warfare Remaster – the last two CoD games will be Pro-ready out of the box, and Black Ops III will get an online Pro patch when the new console launches.

It’s Microsoft’s turn to show off what they are working on with the Project Scorpio. Unless it ends up as a powerhouse, then the Redmond-based company is going to struggle to catch up to Sony. Still… why doesn’t the PS4 Pro support 4K Blu-rays!? (At least it looks just as that sketch did.)
