Xbox One against PlayStation 4: Surprising Outcome In July!

Recently, Xbox One ending up as the bestselling console in the previous month is rare. In fact, the last time Microsoft won was in October 2015!

According to the NPD report, more Xbox Ones were sold than PlayStation 4s, despite the S version with smaller size and HDR-support coming in August, although Microsoft did have some sales going on in North America throughout July. However, Sony‘s console can strike back this month, as No Man’s Sky is only available for PC and PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One is left out from the discoveries.

The Xbox One S’ launch edition sold out in the United Kingdom, so they will have to acquire upcoming bundles to get the redesigned, slightly upgraded Microsoft Console.

While the Xbox One can say they won this fight, the battle is not over: the PlayStation 4 has over 43 million sales, which might be a hard task to overcome for Microsoft.
