You Can Sign Up For The PlayStation 4 4.0 Firmware Beta!

The 4.0 system update is coming soon, and Sony would like to see more testers to have the least possible bugs and glitches in the firmware when it becomes available for all PlayStation 4 owners.

As the European PlayStation Blog writes, the testing will start in August, and if you’re lucky, you will receive an email with the needed information on how to access the 4.0 firmware. While Sony didn’t say when the update launches for everyone else, it’s likely to happen in September.

We don’t know yet what new functionalities come with 4.0, but as soon as the beta launches, people will leak the information, and when that happens, we will be there to inform you about all the new functions.
