Project CARS: do we really need a Game of the Year edition?! [VIDEO]

After multiple delays, Slightly Mad Studios‘ racing simulator, Project CARS finally launched last spring and it wasn’t a bad game. The customers also appreciated the quality, so it’s no surprise to see Bandai Namco re-release the game to invite us for another lap.

Yes, this is going to be a Game of the Year Edition, which – as usual – tries to get the attention of the asphalt warriors by providing extra content. 50 extra cars, pushing the total amount towards 125; 60 new liveries made by the community itself; four new tracks, including the classic Nordschleife circuit…

Do you own the base game already? No problem, you will get the goodies for free. However, if you rebuy/buy the GotY version of Project CARS, you will get two extras: a combination of the GP and the original Nordschleife Nürburgring circuit and the duo of Pagani cars, the Zonda Revolucion and the Huayra BC.

Is Assetto Corsa the reason why the re-release happens in the spring?
