Uncharted movie? Not going to happen next year!

Sony Pictures have announced new details of the Uncharted movie, but it’s not something positive yet again: it received an entire year of delay, so it will be out before June 30, 2017! Originally, the target was June 2016. The movie has been in production for several years, and it’s in trouble again after Seth Gordon, the director has quit. Sony didn’t name the new director yet, but there’s also no detail of the script or of the cast at all.

Therefore, not even the actor of Nathan Drake was named, which should have been done several years ago in order to hype the movie up a little bit. The only thing we know about it is that Mark Wahlberg, known for his acting in Ted and Transformers: Age of Extinction, has also been in the frame for the role.

To us, it seems that the movie is in production hell, so we don’t know if the end result will be a quality movie or not, even with this year of delay included. Sony Pictures are in knee-deep trouble with Nathan’s movie step… We’re not having high hopes – at least the next game, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, due to release in early 2016, has a lot of promise!
