Mortal Kombat X: Jason Voorhees announced as playable character

Surprise… or not. After Mortal Kombat 9, in which Freddy Krueger was a playable character, the horror trend continues, as Jason Voorhees, the teenager slaying star (?) of Friday the 13th will be playable in Mortal Kombat X.

He will be part of the Kombat Pack (priced 30 dollars – aren’t Season Passes turning more expensive?), along with three other fighters and a bunch of almost necessary costumes. For those who bought the Kollector’s Edition will need to just wait, they will get everything.
Another sad news for PlayStation 3-owners: the prev-gen version is delayed into the summer – this port is being developed by High Voltage Software.
