PlayStation 4: Over 25 million sales!

Sony published new sales data about the PlayStation 4 and unsurprisingly, they are still very positive: the current generation console has crossed the line of 25 million sales, and 3 million of this was achieved in the previous quarter year. At this rate, the 30 millionth PlayStation 4 will be sold by the end of 2015. What about the Xbox One? Going by unofficial information, the One is at 13 million consoles, and the last quarter got 1.4 million Microsoft consoles sold. Yes, that means a total of Xbox One AND Xbox 360 sales! That makes the PlayStation 4’s lead a bit more higher, despite the Redmond console’s price cut to just 350 dollars…

In the United Kingdom, the PlayStation 4 got good results too: it’s over 2 million in the UK, which was achieved in less time than it took for the PS3 and the PS2. The console is definitely on its way to take the throne of the grandpa, the PlayStation 2.

What’s going to happen, if the PlayStation 4-exclusive titles are beginning to drop in next year?
