Life Is Strange Is Receiving A Digital Series Adaptation!

Surprise! Dontnod‘s game is going to get a digital live-action series handled by Legendary Digital Studios!

They hit an agreement with Square Enix to create a series about the story of Max Caulfield and Chloe Price. dj2 Entertainment will also participate in production – Dmitri Johnson and Dan Jevons joins the crew from this team; the duo recently finished production for Sony Films’ Sonic the Hedgehog. From Legendary, Cory Lanier and Greg Siegel have been named as key members. Legendary‘s recent resume involves movies such as Warcraft, Jurassic World, 2014’s Godzilla, or Dead Rising: Watchtower.

We don’t know when the series will start, as there are still meetings being held with potential writers. Still, to us, it looks like a trend is happening: games receive a cinematic/series adaptation; for the latter genre, a prime example would be Battlefield.

We can’t wait to see how they will implement Max’s time reversal skills, as it was an essential part of the gameplay.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
